As long as you are logging into Zoom using your EBS account, your account is secure. Every Zoom user account set up by EBS has several layers of protection:
- SSL (Secure Socket Layer) communication security and privacy over the Internet using encrypted links that keep all data passed between you and your participants private,
- AES 256-bit encryption – an added layer of application security that encrypts all presentation content,
- the protection of a BAA (Business Associate Agreement that establishes HIPAA-compliant liability protection between Zoom and EBS Healthcare.
Your Basic account allows you to have unlimited meetings with a 40-minute time limit for 3 or more total participants including yourself. Meetings with only 1 or 2 participants should not have a time limit.
Starting a new Zoom meeting for each scheduled session is recommended. It helps create a better record of your online contact time.
